Most of our furniture is delivered already assembled, but for shipping efficiency all of the tables are flat packed.
The assembly process should be straightforward, instructions are provided and it typically takes 1-2 people approximately 30 minutes to complete. However, we do provide an assembly and installation service for £39.95 which we do recommend you consider. Here are the reasons why:
- Our teams are, as you would expect, experts in the assembling of all our furniture quickly and efficiently and you can be assured that your furniture has been assembled correctly.
- Items can be heavy, especially the larger tables and this can make assembling them difficult if you are doing it on your own, especially turning the table on to its feet once the legs have been fitted to the tabletop.
- Our installation teams carry spares with them, so that should there be any issues on the day of delivery, e.g. anything missing or damaged, this can usually be resolved immediately, rather than having to wait for a date when the team can revisit
- You will have the opportunity to chat to the assembly team and ask any questions about using the furniture – extending and closing the tables for example.
- You will be able to inspect all items at the point of delivery and raise any questions or concerns (not that we expect there to be any of course.
- The team will clean up after them and they can also dispose of all the packaging although there is a small extra £10 charge for that.
There are a couple of points to be aware of if you are considering using our installation service.
1) The service is available in most areas but there are some postcodes where we can’t offer it. postcode dependent
2) in our peak times – which are Mid-March to end August) opting for installation may push back the delivery date a little.
The assembly service is £39.95 and to add packaging removal is an extra £10.00
You can opt for this service at the point of order, or you can simply ask the team to assemble the furniture on the day.
